This part of the connection provides the customers to route traffic directly to its neighboring countries. this is faster and more economical; therefore it makes the environment more conducive to develop regional content.
It also has connection to local ISPs via the first Internet exchange in the Philippines - PhIX and emerging Internet exchange in Vitro(VIX). This provides customers direct and faster access to local information thereby making efficient use of their international connection and this promotes a truly Philippine-centric Internet.
