PLDT iView

PLDT introduces iView

iView provides a detailed view of the performance and data service levels of an organization’s network environment, which can be accessed real-time via the web.

It combines hardware and software that allows the customer to monitor application performance behavior, identify the source of network performance problems, monitor service level agreements and track bandwidth utilization patterns, to make sure the customer is paying for the right amount of bandwidth for each circuit and prioritize bandwidth for specific applications.

  1. What is Brains iView?
    iView provides a detailed view of the performance and data service levels of an organization's network environment, which can be accessed real-time via the web.
  2. How can I access iView?
    iView can be accessed via the Internet by using an assigned username and password.
  3. Do I need to install a special software before I can use iView?
    This is one of the advantages of iView over other solutions. There is no need to install any special software on the customer side before using iView.

    All that is needed is a browser (Internet Explorer Version 4.0.1 SP2 and above or Netscape Communicator Version 4.5 and above), both with cookies and java script enabled.

  4. Can I modify the user name itself?
    NO, definitely NOT. Other information such as password and secret password can be modified except for the user name.
  5. Who can make modifications to the username?
    Authorized personnel in possession of the username and password. When submitting modifications through fax, mail or in person, signatory must be the head of IT or Telecoms.
  6. How long does it take for changes to my password or question to go into effect?
    The effect is immediate.
  7. What if I forgot my password?
    Click on the "Forgot password?" button. Answer the secret question and the password will be shown.
  8. How do I download the reports?
    Reports can be downloaded by clicking on "Format" tab then select "PNG". Saving the file can be done by choosing the button "Open this file from its current location". Then save the file from Microsoft Photo Editor.
  9. Does PLDT offer different Classes of Service (CoS) for its iView Service?
    Yes, different classes of service (CoS) reporting capability that contain a number of preset service package combinations with customization features to meet new customer requirements complexity and the ability to meet the individual requirements. It is intended that packages will include increasing degrees of reporting functionality correlating to client complexity.

    PLDT offers four (4) CoS for its iView Service namely: Standard, Interactive, Interactive Plus and the Probe Package.

    A Single Report Package is also available for those who cannot afford Interactive but needs additional report beside the Standard Reports.
