DigiNet is a high-quality, fully digital, data communication service that provides dedicated leased line connections for domestic network applications via the DigiNet Network. The dedicated connections can either be point-to-point or point-to-multi-point (connection of more than one termination at the same destination). This service is being offered by PLDT to potential customers who require low to high volume of voice and data transmission.

Superior Digital Transmission Link
DigiNet utilizes state-of-the-art-transmission and multiplexing technologies of SDH and DWDM via fiber optic cables and rides on three (3) fully-redundant PLDT transport networks namely the DFON, GMMIOT, and SYNFONET (DigiNet’s dedicated dwdm data transport) to ensure the highest quality of data transmission requirements.

DigiNet supports a wide variety of access speeds ranging from a 1.2 kbps to 2 Mbps, 45 Mbps (DS3), and 155 Mbps (STM-1) to cover most data transmission requirements.
Centralized Management System
The DigiNet network includes a Network Management System for centralized node administration and maintenance, collection, analysis, and reporting of faults that is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How long is the provisioning time?
Lead time in DIGINET service provisioning is at 10 days minimum depending on the availability of network resources. Extended links requiring special builds would normally require a 30-day advance notice of confirmed order to cover for equipment purchase and installation.

Is DIGINET service accompanied by a Service Level Agreement?
Yes. The service availability options that come with the DIGINET service is up to 99.99%.
The customer has the option to choose a high service availability level. A higher service availability level is provided at a very reasonable price and is implemented by allocating additional network resources to back up the primary link.
Wide network coverage of DIGINET access nodes combined with fully-redundant and superior digital transmission at the core network make it possible to configure a network with the desired service performance.
