- What is PLDT AudioCon Service?
PLDT Audiocon is an interactive audio communication. It
involves pre-selected participants, geographically situated
dispersed locations by using PLDT telephone lines.
- How do I avail of the PLDT Audiocon Service?
To avail of the PLDT Audiocon service, you may get in
touch with PLDT Conferencing Helpdesk in two ways:

Note: Reservation should be made three (3) working
days prior to the actual Audiocon session proper.
- How will I be billed?
- Host (PLDT-Client ) Call-In
- Set-Up Fee will be reflected on the chargeable
number given by the Host, and will be paid by
the Host.
- Toll usage incurred by the Host and each invited
attendee / participant are charged regular long
distance by their providers.
- All Charges are paid after the Audiocon session
has been completed (e.g., post-paid).
- Host (PLDT-Client ) Call-Out
- Set-Up Fee will be reflected on the chargeable
number given by the Host, and will be paid by
the Host.
- Toll usage incurred by the PLDT CHD to call
/ connect all the invited attendees / participants
will be charged to the Host as well.
- All Charges are paid after the Audiocon session
has been completed (i.e., post-paid).
- Host (Non-PLDT Client ) Call-In only
- Set-Up Fee will be paid by the Host before actual
session(i.e., pre-paid).
- Toll usage incurred by the Host and each invited
attendee / participant are charged regular long
distance by their providers.
- What should conference attendees do before actual
session?
- For Call-Out
The attendees should be ready and waiting for the
PLDT CHD call near the telephone (as specified in
their reservation) 15 minutes before the actual session
- For Call-In
The attendees should be calling the assigned audio
conference session number 15 minutes before the actual
session. For instance, a call-in conference was schedule
at 9:00am –10:00am of this day. The attendees should
be calling the assigned audio conference phone at
around 8:45am for setup time.
- What happens if I experience poor reception / signals
for audio conferences?
PLDT Audiocon is fully digital. And we assure you of its
high service reliability at all times through its periodic
preventive and corrective maintenance activities. To avoid
such problems, we advise that you check your telephone
instruments, especially the ones with speaker phones.
There are units with such feature that are sensitive to
noise. Mobile phones, on the other hand, are sensitive
to the type of terrain / land environment, weather conditions,
and poor cell site signal amplifications.
- What if one or several of my invited attendees /
participants cannot attend the Audiocon session that is
about to start, can I elect a new participant?
No. Changes in the roster of participants, as well as
changing of the actual date of session, should be done
24 working hours before the actual session (note: The
changing of the actual date of session depends on the
availability of conferencing units.)
- What if one of my invited attendee / participant
is disconnected from the actual Audiocon session?
The Host or the disconnected attendee / participant should
inform the PLDT AudioCon HelpDesk through telephone numbers
(02)584-0117, and inform of the disconnection. PLDT Audiocon
HelpDesk will re-connect the participant to the conference,
the way he was initially connected (e.g., Call-In or Call-Out).
- Can I cancel my Audio reservation?
Yes, provided you will file it 24 working hours prior
to your reserved schedule. The same procedure should also
be observed in case you want to re-schedule your Audiocon
(note: The changing of the actual date of session depends
on the availability of conferencing units). You shall
be charged with a corresponding cancellation or rescheduling
fee.
- How do I make sure that I do not extend beyond the
session time / duration I reserved?
Your Audiocon session will be automatically terminated
as soon as you have already consumed your reserved session
time. This ensures that you will not be charged an extra
amount. In this manner, we advise you to wrap-up your
Audiocon 15 minutes prior to actual end time.
- What happens if I am a prepaid Audiocon Host, and
I cancelled my session 24 working hrs before actual session?
You can no longer refund the setup fee which you paid
for. This will be treated as cancellation fee equivalent
to that of setup fee.
- I am a post paid Audiocon Host. I noticed that my
PLDT Audiocon bill, which reflects the Set-Up Fee is ahead
of my regular PLDT monthly statement of account. Why is
this so?
Your PLDT Audiocon bill, which reflects the Set-Up Fee,
is handled immediately after your Audiocon session is
completed. Processing is done manually. All corresponding
toll charges shall reflect on your regular PLDT monthly
statement of account depending on your regular billing
cycle.
